Job description
Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Urbandale, IA, 50322
Type: ONLY on W2 contract (NO C2C)
Length: 03/04/2024 to 10/31/2024
Pay Rate – $58 - $64 per hour
Person can work onsite or remote.
Responsibilities:
Partner with developers to create, maintain and execute automated integration and functional tests
Create and execute data validation tests in an Agile environment
Write, execute, and maintain end-to-end system integration scenarios and user acceptance scenarios for the large-volume data process
Translate user stories into test scenarios and cases and provide feedback to ensure testability of all stories
Collaborate with other business groups and external teams for end-to-end integration
Partner with developers to create, maintain and execute automated unit and integration tests
Qualifications:
2+ years of software engineering experience creating and executing tests
Experience coding and scripting in a modern programming language such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node JS, or JavaScript
Experience with test automation via automation frameworks
Experience testing back-end services and/or APIs
Experience integrating with CI/CD and working in public cloud with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Demonstrates advanced problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
