job summary:
A Structural Analysis Engineer is needed for a multinational aerospace corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, and telecommunications equipment in the Mesa, AZ area. This role involves developing and documenting structural requirements, guiding product design using analytical methods and finite element analysis, and supporting certification efforts in structural analysis.

responsibilities:
+ Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements for system design.
+ Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment.
+ Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools.
+ Develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance throughout the product lifecycle.
+ Develop test plans and configurations for system and component validation.
+ Support test execution and analyze/report test results.
+ Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.
+ Investigate failures and analyze improvements for in-service products.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
+ Minimum of a Bachelor’s in STEM program with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3+ years of experience.
+ Classical structural analysis capabilities.
+ Finite element analysis capability.
+ Experience with NASTRAN or ABAQUS , or similar technology.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
+ CATIA and/or Unigraphics experience.
