Job description

Position Summary

Coordinate and implement marketing communication projects with responsibility that includes public relations, special events, advertising, and creating brand awareness.  Organize the preparation of proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for managing 2 - 5 other marketing employees.

• Coordinating with corporate marketing representatives to ensure ADTech marketing materials comply with the Oceaneering Graphic & Identification Standards Manual.

• Responsible for design and production of up-to-date promotional and marketing materials for ADTECH including product and services brochures, team logos, and specialized marketing materials.

• Responsible for design and production of advertising in publications and within tradeshow and conference programs.

• Coordinate with Security and Contracts to ensure all written and visual content is approved for use within public forums.

• Responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory of AdTech’s marketing and promotional materials in the Maryland office and online store.  Also responsible for purchasing and sale of marketing/promotional materials in AdTech.

• Responsible for designing, organizing and managing the marketing and technical displays at special events and trade shows.  This also includes logistics of set-up and breakdown and representing the company at the event.  

• Responsible for Planning and managing the Annual Oceaneering/MTS Symposium

• Responsible for working with ADTech BD to help maintain Sponsorships and memberships.

• Responsible for management and administration of the information contained in the AdTech Business Development and Marketing workspaces on SharePoint as well as keeping the AdTech information up to date on the Oceaneering website.

• Responsible for reviewing the capabilities of the printers in AdTech’s Maryland offices to ensure current user needs are meet.  Also responsible for negotiating printer rental and service agreements.

• Responsible for providing photography and video editing services to the Adtech operating divisions.

• Assist with proposal development as directed. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION:


• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent subject area or work experience.

EXPERIENCE:


• Minimum of ten years business development and marketing support.
• Photography and videography.

KNOWLEDGE:


• Strong computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, MS Project, InDesign, Photoshop, graphics programs, photo and video editing software, data bases, and publishing. 
• Photography.

OTHER PRE-REQUISITES:


• Candidate will have to perform in an ISO-9000 rated company in a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others. 
• Requires excellent organizational and communication skills. 
• Ability and willingness to travel.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
