Surdex is seeking an innovative Web Developer to join our R & D team creating outstanding geospatial data solutions for public and private clients. As the Web Developer, you will be responsible for back-end and front-end coding, collaborating with the Systems Administrator to manage the web servers, assisting in design and management of the database.

Essential Duties of the Web Developer:

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code using best practices.
• Create website enhancements/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Optimized on all platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile) and web browsers.
• Monitor website uptime across multiple sites.
• Monitor security notices and keep software current.
• Provide scope and outline for new site developments and enhancements.
• Manage all internal and external websites.

The ideal Web Developer candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree, or a combination of coursework and education.
• 5+ years of relevant applications development experience required.
• Strong work experience in React, SQL, and Javascript/Typescript.
• Experience using C#, .NET, JQuery, Xamarin, Postgres, GIS desired.
• Proven knowledge of the most current security and web development programming languages.
• Database Management: SQL Server.
