About the HTC: The Healthcare Transformation Consortium, LLC (HTC ) is a collaborative of seven New Jersey healthcare systems: Atlantic Health System, CentraState Healthcare System, Hunterdon Health, Holy Name, Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, and Valley Health. The systems have come together to use their healthcare delivery expertise, share best practices to lower medical costs and improve quality for the members covered under their respective self-insured employee benefit plans. In 2018, they successfully bid out and selected a single, likeminded carrier partner to administer their benefits, achieving administrative savings over the course of 5 years. Additionally, the members agreed to reciprocal hospital pricing and structured their respective benefit plans to encourage members to seek care within the HTC member systems.
