What You'll Bring to The Team: Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Finance & Accounting, you will lead and execute the forecasting, planning, and analytics processes. You will collaborate with business leadership (across all functions) to develop best-in-class FP&A processes, deliverables, and storytelling. This role offers high exposure to the leadership team, opportunities to challenge how things are done, and growth into a Director role.
You Will: Forecasting & Budgeting - Work cross-departmentally with Sales and Revenue Operations leaders to build and update long and short-term bookings and revenue forecasts.
- Design and drive all budgeting processes for the company, as well as monitor monthly actuals variances.
- Build, maintain, and monitor the 3 statements financial model (balance sheet, P&L, and cash-flow)
Analytics & Insights - Automate our budgeting, planning, and analytics up to best practices.
- Build, improve, distribute, and own all analytics and KPIs both company-wide and on a departmental basis.
Reporting & Narrative Creation - Own financial reporting and related deliverables
- Build all finance-related presentation decks, creating & effectively communicating the financial narratives to external and internal stakeholders.
An Ideal Candidate has: - 5+ years of experience in corporate, banking, or consulting; with at least 2 years in FP&A gained at a SaaS company (or similar), with at least $100M+ annual revenue and 500+ employees.
- Experience budgeting and forecasting in an EPM; and familiarity navigating ERPs to corroborate modeling assumptions using actual data points.
- Exceptional financial modeling skills, particularly 3 statements financial models (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow).
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition, acquisition accounting, group consolidation, and forex accounting.
- Highly developed narrative creation ("story-telling"), and communication skills; has produced top-quality presentations for executive or investor consumption.
- Driven personality with high levels of critical thinking, a desire for continuous improvement and challenging the status-quo, and overall curiosity.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision with exceptional attention to detail - include "CURE" in your resume or cover letter (must-have).
- Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency of internal finance processes.
- A finance-related undergraduate degree, ideally with CPA, MBA, or CFA.
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Oracle SmartView, Oracle NetSuite ERP, and Salesforce
- Experience evaluating M&A and forecasting post-M&A financials.
- Experience reporting and interpreting key SaaS metrics (CAC, LTV, ARR, ...).
- Experience working with or developing analytics and dashboards.
- Familiarity evaluating investments using IRR, NPV, and DCF frameworks.
- Familiarity with treasury (cash-flow forecasts, financing, hedging, ...).
- Familiarity with international operations and high-growth businesses (35%+).
- Ability to manage more junior resources.
