Job Summary
We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as CAM Field Specialist.
Job Description
- Attain excellence in learning and competency events.
- Ensure safe, timely and compliant operations at the well site, job location or plant, including rig-up and rig-down of equipment.
- Mentor others as required.
- Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs.
- Engage customer contacts to promote company products and services.
Skills Required
- 1-2 years of Oil & Gas or related industry experience
- 1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance/technician field role
- Perform a variety of key tasks associated with site operations and rigging up/down of Cameron equipment and tools
- Ensuring, as the company representative, that the job goes as planned
- Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing wellheads and valves per equipment specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
- Collaborating with sales, production, and engineering on products and installation issues to include process, spares parts, and fit and function
- Communicating problems and issues with the job site leader
- Maintaining responsibility for the safety of yourself and others, including reporting of all work-related injuries, near misses, equipment damage, and unsafe acts as soon as practicable to supervisor or senior technician
- Use of Hydraulic torch wrenches, cutting torch and misc. hand tools and air tools
- Operate a forklift
- Well head experience is a huge plus
- SAP knowledge is a plus but not required
Education/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Commercial Drivers License preferred
- 3+ years in related role
- Strong mechanical / electrical knowledge
Additional Requirements
- Being a liaison between company sales, production, and engineering personnel and customers on product and product installation issues, including, but not limited to, job procedures, spare parts, and fit and function.
Pay Rate/Salary
- $23 per hour
