Job Summary
As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operations of the service department.
Duties/Qualifications Include:
- Review the work-in-progress to ensure that quality and timeliness standards are met.
- Assist customers in servicing, repairing, and explaining each service needed.
- Ensure the service department contributes and exceeds gross net profit goals.
- Maximize productivity levels of service technicians and make sure the team is well-trained and available when needed.
- Work with customers to give estimates/quotes and explain the services being performed.
- Stay up to date on new products, features, and accessories and attend product training as required.
- Maintain a high CXI rating by providing stellar customer service.
- Explain the service being performed and keep the customer informed and updated throughout the service process.
- Maintain a service customer follow-up system that supports repeat and referral business and contributes to customer happiness.
- Hire and supervise all service department personnel, and monitor their performance in servicing customers.
Qualifications:* Experience as a service manager is preferred, but not required.
- Strong focus on providing excellent customer service
- High school diploma or higher education
- Clean driving record & valid driver's license
- Driven personality, eager to improve, and able to work within and support internal teams
