Job description

The Institutional Giving Manager has a critical role in developing and implementing strategies for the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation’s institutional giving goals for foundation, corporate, and government support. This position specializes in proposal development and writing for all Free Library programming and resources, as well as unrestricted revenue, while providing support for donor stewardship, grant reporting, and other grant management processes. The ideal candidate will be a persuasive and experienced grant writer, display exceptional project management and relationship-building skills, think strategically, and have a keen eye for details.

In 54 locations throughout the Philadelphia region, the Free Library of Philadelphia system has a tremendous impact on supporting the literacy of Philadelphians of all ages. From toddler story hours to workplace readiness programs to engaging author lectures to a citywide campaign to ensure Philadelphia’s children are reading on grade level by 4th grade, the Free Library of Philadelphia is one of the most important cultural and educational institutions in the city.
