As a member of a team that provides technical support for the business operations of a nationwide corporate and manufacturingcompany, an Oldcastle APG IT Administrator/IT Deskside Support is responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting client PCsand printers; troubleshooting data network and VOIP communication issues; and tracking break/fix information in a centralizedincident tracking system. The structure of the team is designed with flexibility in mind, giving members of the team opportunities toundertake higher level tasks and projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in French and English
- First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial point of contact for all IT-related inquiries, incidents, and service requests fromemployees
- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues forend-users
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobiledevices
- Ticket Management: Service Now, manage and prioritize service desk tickets using our ticketing system, ensuring allissues are tracked and resolved within established service level agreements (SLAs)
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service requests, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps taken forfuture reference
- User Training: Offer basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems, applications, and best practices
- Software Installation: Assist with software installations, updates, and configurations on user mobile devices
- Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT security policies and protocols, including user access managementand password resets
- Perform intermediate-to-advanced IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) services: hardware rollouts, refreshes, andother hardware deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, POS devices, etc
- Install, maintain, and support the operation of network printers, Windows based workstations and laptops, and a nation-wide VOIP telecommunications system Provide 1st/2nd level Help Desk support
- Assist with the on boarding of new employees by ensuring that new user accounts and access is configured, andcomputers are setup. Ensure management of assets as part of the Onboarding and Off-boarding processes
- Responsible for managing events and IT security alerts such as Antivirus notifications, Software patches and Healthstatus of IT infrastructure components
Qualifications
- Provide support to end users in French and English
- Must have a Diploma/Degree from a recognized IT program
- A+ certification & at least one certification from either Cisco or Microsoft
- A minimum of 3+ years of deskside support experience
- A minimum of 3+ years of IMAC experience doing hardware rollouts, refreshes, and other deployment related activities
- A minimum of 3+ years of break-fix experience
- Have strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills
- Other vendor certifications from OEMs (Dell, Lenovo, HP) considered an asset
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
- Outstanding people skills
- Proficient in Windows 10 and Mac devices

Responsabilités

- Effectuer des services IMAC (installs, moves, adds, changes) de niveau intermédiaire à avancé : déploiements de matériel, actualisations et autres activités liées au déploiement de matériel sur PC, ordinateurs portables, imprimantes, appareils POS, etc.
- Installer, entretenir et prendre en charge le fonctionnement des imprimantes réseau, des postes de travail et des ordinateurs portables Windows, ainsi que d'un système de télécommunications VOIP à l'échelle nationale. Fournir un support technique de 1er/2e niveau.
- Aider à l'intégration des nouveaux employés en s'assurant que les nouveaux comptes d'utilisateurs et accès sont configurés et que les ordinateurs sont configurés. Assurer la gestion des actifs dans le cadre des processus d'onboarding et d'offboarding
- Responsable de la gestion des événements et des alertes de sécurité informatique telles que les notifications antivirus, les correctifs logiciels et l'état de santé des composants de l'infrastructure informatique.
Qualifications
- Pouvoir assurer le support aux utilisateurs en français et en anglais
- Doit détenir un diplôme/diplôme d'un programme informatique reconnu
- Certification A+ et au moins une certification de Cisco ou Microsoft
