A Tremendous & Rewarding Opportunity for candidates with the following:The purpose of the Gallagher Pension Actuarial Internship is to provide a chance to assess a career interest in one or a variety of corporate functions and disciplines. During the internship, the intern will support various business units to gain practical knowledge in a corporate environment, assist with projects as assigned, and support the projects and business needs as necessary. As an actuarial intern in the pension practice, you will be exposed and have involvement in individual benefit calculations, data reconciliation, liability development, annual valuation reporting, and government filings. As part of this internship, you will partner with analysts and actuarial consultants to learn what a pension actuary does, and why you might want to pursue this career. As part of the internship, there will also be exposure to other practices within Gallagher Benefit Services that we work with on a regular basis, including pension administration, investments, defined contribution, and healthcare. From a technology aspect, you will work primarily in Excel and Outlook, as well as other software used in the actuarial business specific to the role.
