Job description


Campus Activities Accounting Technician reports to the Director of Campus Activities and is a key member of the team supporting student government. The Campus Activities department has a significant impact on the student experience for a campus of 49,500 students and is responsible for the functional area and, in collaboration with direct reports, coordinates the advisement of Undergrad and Graduate Student governments, including their assemblies. 

The Campus Activities Accounting Technician is responsible for all transactions related to Undergraduate and Graduate Student Government in support of the assemblies, student organization funding, large scale programming, and stipends. Additionally, this role will assist with Campus Activities departmental financial transactions when able which includes program expenses, office vendor POs, and processing purchase request.

The hourly rate range for this position is $24.54 - $27.37. Minimum Education: Associate's degree Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 1 year Minimum Field of Expertise: Related bookkeeping/accounting experience. Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting practices and principles. Ability to use a variety of bookkeeping/accounting software applications such as databases, spreadsheets, etc, as required.
