Job description
Position Overview: The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems, wiring, and cabling for a large-scale data center. This position will ensure that the processes, systems, and infrastructure are compliant with current regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of telecom systems, wiring, and cabling for a large-scale data center
- Ensure that all processes, systems, and infrastructure are compliant with current regulations and standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards, and any changes in technology
- Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturers, providers, and other key stakeholders
- Monitor telecom systems performance and provide troubleshooting support as needed
- Manage telecom system-related projects, and ensure timely completion
- Develop and monitor telecom system budgets
- Regularly update telecom system and network documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as telecommunications or electrical engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
- Extensive knowledge of ATENA, WiFi, VPN, Cat5, Cat6, Fiber, and CAT3
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
