Member Solutions Advocate (Receptionist)
Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and friendly Member Solutions Advocate (Receptionist) to join our team at MAPLE Federal Credit Union. This role is vital to our institution as you will be the first point of contact for members and guests. In addition to traditional receptionist duties, you will also handle digital requests, making this a dynamic and technology-driven role.
Responsibilities

- Greet and assist members and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Manage lobby traffic efficiently, ensuring that members are directed to the right employees or resources.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate staff members or departments.
- Perform transactions over the phone, including transfers, loan payments, and other financial services.
- Manage digital communication channels, including emails, online inquiries, and chat, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Provide basic information regarding credit union products, services, and promotions.
- Handle member complaints and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages, and prepare outgoing mail as needed.
- Occasionally assist with digital banking requests, including online inquiries and account openings.
- Assist with operational tasks, such as opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Uphold compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure the security and confidentiality of member information.
- Continuously strive to enhance the member experience by actively seeking ways to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receptionist role or customer service is preferred.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools, email, and chat platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and digitally.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with technology and the ability to assist members with digital banking tools.
- Friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor.

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
