Title: Project Manager

Pharmaron is seeking to hire an outstanding candidate to join our department as a Project Manager - DMPK. The Project Manager will play an important role by supporting our clients and the department.

Responsibilities :

• Designing DMPK studies that meet sponsors' needs in a scientifically sound and cost effective manner.
• Providing scientific consultative support for preclinical testing services, primarily for small molecule drug discovery, candidate selection.
• Fostering client account diversification and expansion in association with Sales and Marketing.
• Remaining current on global regulatory requirements and industry trends related to drug development and approval.
• Project management of active and ongoing projects.

Other important functions include:

• Managing client expectations with timely and relevant communications.
• Participating in project management and internal meetings
• Coordinating internal research projects to optimize service offerings.
• Interacting with different teams on a daily basis including Scientists, Executive Management, Legal, Accounting and external Subcontractors.
• Maintaining accurate records in multiple internal databases.

Required Education/Experience :

• Masters' or Ph.D. Degree in pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry or pharmacology.
• Scientific background is a must. Working knowledge of pre-clinical DMPK (drug metabolism, transporters, permeability, pharmacokinetics) and bioanalysis is highly desirable.
• Relevant industry experience depending on education level.
• Prior experience in a CRO would be a plus.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Position requires strong professional communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to adapt in a dynamic team environment are keys for success.

DMPK Services

Pharmaron's DMPK services support the needs for small molecule drug discovery, preclinical and clinical development, including preclinical candidate (PCC) identification and nomination, Investigational New Drug (IND) enabling and New Drug Application (NDA) packaging for regulatory submission. DMPK services are offered from our sites in the United States, United Kingdom and China.

Pharmaron's DMPK group offers comprehensive in vitro ADME, radiolabelled metabolism, in vitro toxicity and in vivo pharmacokinetics services, which allow for the evaluation of DMPK properties and toxicity of small molecule drug candidates with high data quality in a cost-effective manner.
