JOB TITLE: Registered Dietitian (Senior Living)

LOCATION: Brooks University Crossing Bartram (Jacksonville region)

SALARY: 28-30/hr Part-Time (20 hours/wee) Monday-Friday

Clinical Ladder Program Eligibility (after one year of employment)

The Clinical Dietitian works closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide nutrition care that is integrated and compatible with the resident-focused medical goals and objectives. Primary responsibilities include application of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) including completion of the nutrition assessment, determination of the nutrition diagnosis, developing and implementing nutrition intervention(s), and monitoring and evaluating the resident's progress.

Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area, granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college or university. Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association. Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; Certification/Licensure as required by state of practice.

We are seeking an RD with experience in a busy hospital setting, and one who possesses a compassionate nature, amazing communication skills and a passion for specialized health and dietary needs.

This position requires a polished and professional identity with a winning attitude from a Dietitian who is ready to hit the ground running in a fast paced setting. The ideal candidate will have an engaging personality focused on our Guest experience. We are happy to consider candidates who have completed the required coursework and exam eligible, but strongly desire an experienced RD with Clinical experience.

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or Dietetics
• Registered Dietitian
• Licensed RD
• Experience in a Contract Dining facility setting preferred
• Electronic Medical Records
• Nutrition Education
