Position: Commercial Business Development Manager

Floor Coverings International is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Business Development Manager to spearhead marketing initiatives for the local office. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in marketing, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to take initiative in a professional environment.

Requirements and Skills:

Must have commercial flooring experience, residential flooring is a plus

Networking skills and experience- book of business is a must

Establish and nurture new commercial B2B account relationships to drive business growth.

Assist in both outbound and inbound marketing activities, showcasing expertise in content development and optimization, advertising, and event planning.

Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to coordinate brand awareness and execute strategic marketing efforts.

Commercial awareness coupled with a creative mindset to develop innovative marketing strategies.

Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and relevant tools.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency in various software applications.

Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Exceptional communication and writing skills to effectively convey marketing messages.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Business Development Professional or in a similar role, particularly in a commercial context.

Strong general business acumen to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.

Excellent time-management and execution skills to meet deadlines and project milestones.

Self-starter with a keen eye for detail and an ability to drive marketing initiatives from conception to completion.

Passion for the vision industry or a strong desire to learn about the vision industry.

Upholds integrity and ethical standards, aligning with the values of Floor Coverings International.

Demonstrates grit and perseverance, particularly when tackling longer-term projects.

Ability to prioritize time effectively to maximize impact on the organization.

Good understanding of the needs and motivations of sales teams.

Compensation: $55,000-$75,0000 base with bonus opportunities.

Note: This role will require collaboration with sales teams, attendance at industry events, and participation in broader marketing strategies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial marketing initiatives of Floor Coverings International. he position involves a mix of office hours and flexibility.
