User Experience Designer Location Remote in Peoria, IL :
The Department of Interactive Media at Bradley University seeks a dynamic individual to join our award-winning and nationally ranked department as a User Experience Designer on a government awarded subcontract. This is a non-exempt (hourly) position, working a minimum 30 hours per week and is 100% externally funded, subject to external funding for a maximum of 3 years. Incumbent may work remotely.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years professional user experience design experience working with established companies. The candidate must have extensive experience in user research, user interface design, and user testing.

The candidate must have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and their applications in software development. Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent presentation skills are also desired. Experience in research and development of cutting edge technologies, user flow diagrams, prototypes, wireframes, and mockups is preferred.
Appointment requires a bachelor degree in User Experience Design (or related field) and evidence of successful related production experience in creative works and/or industry. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
