Based in Irvine, CA, we are a medical device startup that is revolutionizing the respiratory care industry. We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as we ramp-up production of our flagship product in the United States. We are looking for local candidates who can come to the Irvine office when they are not traveling. Travel will be local to start in the SoCal hospital markets and then expand as we sell more. We recently obtained FDA approval and have big goals in 2024 - that starts with you!

The ideal candidate is a Sales Director from the Respiratory / Ventilator medical device industry with a startup mentality. Unlimited commission! Travel will be global and up to 80%-90% after 3-6 months in SoCal building out those markets.

What You Will Be Doing

- Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message.
- Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the area sales team or discuss future targets with the management.
- Achieves sales revenue goals in a defined sales territory.
- Develops a database maintained in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system of qualified leads attained through consultant referrals, face to face meetings, calls, direct mail, email, and networking.
- Performance clinical evaluations.
- Sells and makes recommendations to prospects and clients on the various solutions the company offers to solve their business issues.
- Generates proposals in compliance with Accreditation Body requirements and/or product sector requirements.

What You Need for this Position

5-7+ years of experience in the following:

- Global Sales
- Medical Device
- Respiratory / Ventilators
- Build team and territories

- Startup Mentality
- SolidWorks / CAD experience a plus
- Certification industry

- Develop a Database / CRM
- Sales Operations
- Clinical knowledge in Ventilators a huge plus
- Bachelor's degree in related field

- Sales & Business Development - build from scratch
- Experience with ISO 13485, MDSAP, MDD and CE/MDR standards
- Extensive travel - someone who has experience selling to hospital markets in SoCal and the US!
