Job description
Centurion Analytics, LLC is seeking a Corporate Relocation Analyst to support our client in Fredericksburg, VA. The Relocation Analyst is responsible for broad administrative and management support to directly support Housing and Urban Development (HUD) relocation projects throughout the U.S. The candidate has a working knowledge of HUD relocation process. This position requires close coordination with multiple stakeholders, including tenants, landlords, and internal staff. The candidate handles supporting the efficient relocation of tenants by coordinating with and providing technical guidance to landlords and tenants throughout the tenant relocation process life cycle. The Relocation Analyst, who works under the direction of a Relocation Coordinator, assists in maximizing the productivity of on-site staff around the U.S. to ensure that the tenants are relocated as efficiently as possible.
General Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Identify prospective Section 8 landlords in opportunity zones and connect our tenants with these landlords
- Provide direct housing opportunity counseling to tenants to help them identify homes with access to quality school systems and job opportunities
- Prepare, analyze, and approve reports that are delivered to HUD for senior or executive level review
- Effectively and efficiently solve problems and prevent potential property management or relocation risks
- Ensure that all divisional deadlines are met
- Prepare documents for upcoming relocation projects
- Complete weekly status and Check Request reports
- Review tenant files and key documents for accuracy and completion
- Ensure corporate procedures are followed by on-site relocation specialists
Job Location: Fredericksburg, VA (Hybrid work environment - 2 Days of Remote Telecommunication and 3 Days of In-Office)
Requirements
- Certified Occupancy Specialist (Preferred)
- Prior management and administrative experience
- Solid business writing, strong public speaking skills, and strong communication/presentation skills
- Willingness to travel 1-10 days each month to various relocation sites across the U.S.
- One year management experience and/or one year leasing consultant experience (highly preferred, not required)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Working knowledge of HUD housing opportunity zone policies or other government policies
- Able to provide timely and accurate information and feedback to stakeholders based on established policies and procedures
- Ability to collaborate with and assist internal and external stakeholders in person, large group settings, writing or by telephone with routine issues and concerns
- Ability to review and prepare documents for senior or executive level review
- Demonstrated capability in problem solving, critical thinking and process improvements
Education:
- Minimum education requirement is high school degree or equivalent
- Bachelors degree (Preferred) or relevant field/ coursework and/or a masters degree in a business-related discipline
