Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Land Acquisition Analyst to join our team. In this position you will play a key role in underwriting the purchases of new communities for Richmond American Homes. 

Responsibilities

• Complete financial modeling for new land acquisitions
• Draft Letters of Intent (LOI’s)
• Obtain and analyze due diligence materials for project feasibility
• Research jurisdictional development and building requirements
• Complete competitive market analyses • Review and summarize purchase and sale agreements
• Review title work
• Draft acquisition memorandums
• Assist managers with entitlements
• Serve on HOA boards
• Track future acquisition opportunities
• Build market intelligence through published research and industry news
• Create presentations to graphically represent market data
• Assist other internal stakeholders with land related research.

Requirements

A college degree is required and/or prior experience in land acquisition. Legal or financial experience and/or education is preferred. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented with a strong acumen for critical, logical thinking and problem-solving and have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Candidates will need to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
• FLSA Status: Exempt
• Bonus Type: Year-End Discretionary
