Job description
Direct Counsel , is actively seeking a highly-qualified and motivated attorney to join a top AmLaw 100 national law firm in their Products Liability and Toxic Tort Practice Group. This is an off-track position that provides an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable experience while working closely with a dynamic team of attorneys and prestigious clients.
Requirements
- High level of academic achievement
- 5+ years of experience in complex litigation
- Additional experience in asbestos/toxic tort related litigation is essential
- Superb writing and communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- California Bar Admission
Responsibilities:
- Engage in all aspects of case work-up and trial preparation
- Draft and review discovery and motions
- Take and defend fact and expert depositions
- Collaborate effectively with the Products Liability and Toxic Tort Practice Group
