Job description
POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be primarily responsible for managing construction projects and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The position will involve working with multiple stakeholders, such as clients, subcontractors, and architects, and requires strong organizational and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Project Manager will perform the following duties:
- Manage and coordinate all construction phases from inception through completion.
- Develop and implement project plans, milestones, and budgets.
- Ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and architects.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
- Monitor and report on project progress.
- Identify and address any potential issues or risks in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and direction to project team members.
- Ensure quality control throughout the project.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management
- Experience with mass timber and/or formed steel construction
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
