JOB AD DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking an experienced Producing Branch Manager for our new Lewisville, TX office. The Producing Branch Manager will provide the leadership, motivation, training, and staff development necessary to enable employees to promote Credit Union products and services. This position is accountable for building financial relationships with our members. This includes processing transactions, updating accounts, opening new accounts, taking in new loan applications, cross selling the appropriate Credit Union products or services, and assisting the Member Contact Center leadership team by providing support and oversight for our Member Contact Center staff that works in the Texas office to ensure the team consistently meets the Credit Union's service standards. Supports the Credit Union's business development efforts by soliciting new memberships at the branch and local businesses, attends SEG visits, performs outbound calls, and participates in and helps monitor digital communication channels. The Producing Branch Manager is responsible for coaching to the SkyOne Service and Sales Model while supervising day-to-day transactions and employee behaviors to ensure the team is consistently delivering an effortless member experience. This position is also responsible for ensuring all branch team members meet individual and team performance and sales goals.
Essential Functions
- Coaches and conducts regular 1:1's/debrief sessions, and develops/cultivates talent in the team, ensuring a culture of top performers that meet and exceed their goals.
- Conducts daily or weekly huddles and weekly or monthly team meetings to train and coach the branch employees, driving strong empowerment and communication within the team.
- Responsible for administering annual performance appraisals to direct reports and provides recommendations for disciplinary actions and training needs.
- Manages time and attendance for designated team, including flex-time usage, breaks and lunches, as well as overall scheduling to ensure proper coverage.
- Ensures scheduling and member appointments are managed effectively.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of the benefits and features of all Credit Union products and services and uses this knowledge to cross-sell Credit Union products and services to meet member needs.
- Ensures employees have clear knowledge of all online, mobile, and other digital products and coaches the team on how to introduce these services to our members and non-members.
- Ensures employees use account information to ask relevant questions to assess member's financial needs and offer the best products and services tailored to those needs while delivering an effortless member experience.
- Ensures branch employees know how to accurately balance all teller drawers, vaults, checks, and ensures the branch has adequate cash inventory to service member needs.
- Ensures all checks are accurately processed through our check imaging each day.
- Ensures employees are well trained to perform all transactions accurately in existing savings, checking, certificate, consumer loans, and credit card accounts in accordance with standard procedures and regulations.
- Ensures the team is well trained to open new accounts and process loan applications with accuracy and in compliance.
- Recommends and implements needed training, promotions, contests, and other programs, designed to reach branch goals.
- Assists employees or members with difficult transactions and escalations.
- Ensures the timely opening and closing of the branch daily.
- Acts as notary for members' Credit Union related business. Ensures that notary license is kept current.
- Communicates branch and Member Contact Center issues, member concerns, promotional opportunities and other important information to the Director of Member Services.
- Supports the Credit Union's business development efforts by soliciting new memberships at the branch and local businesses; and attending local SEG visits.
- Successfully coaches the team on how to perform outbound calls to introduce products and services to members and potential members in order to meet required sales goals.
- Ensures the team is properly trained to process all service requests included but not limited to stop payments, check orders, address changes, card ordering, account maintenance, payments, transfers, deposits, direct deposit, and outgoing wires and withdraws with accuracy and in accordance to our policies and procedure guidelines.
- Ensures all appropriate fees for services are charged.
- Responsible for ensuring that procedures are followed and are updated in a timely manner to make sure that staff has access to the most updated versions when procedural changes occur.
- Responsible for creating new procedures as needed.
- Manages account administration performed in branches including but not limited to opening new accounts, new trust or trust conversion, business accounts, name changes, adding of joint owners/beneficiaries, power of attorney, certificates, IRA, trust and decedent accounts.
- Ensures loan turnaround times meet or exceed required Credit Union standards.
- Ensures that correct disclosures are completed accurately and consistently delivered to members.
- Ensures that all member communication, including inquiries, complaints and escalations are effectively researched, resolved and delivered within set SLA times through all channels within area of responsibility.
- Effectively analyzes reports to ensure internal controls and compliance and looks for areas of opportunity for the Credit Union.
- Ensures that all audit tasks are completed within specified time frames accurately and completely.
- Assists with the resolution of regulatory and audit findings.
- Implements the appropriate auditing of all functions in the department.
- Maintains a safe work environment and reports any unsafe conditions immediately.
- Complies with regulations (BSA, OFAC, etc.) within area of responsibility and assists in completion of Currency Transaction Reports and Suspicious Activity Reports.
- Understands and follows all Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Gives assistance and support to the Member Contact Center, Business Development and Marketing Departments to meet key goals of the Credit Union.
- Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Two years' knowledge and understanding of financial products and services.
- Minimum two years' experience in a financial institution and two years' sales experience.
- Two years of Leadership and Management experience supervising and developing a team.
- Effective coaching and mentoring skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), 10-key and typing.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment.
- Must possess a superior level of member service, be a positive role model for staff, and demonstrate a high level of commitment to the organization.
- High commitment for reaching performance goals and driving growth across all organizational metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of our electronic delivery services.
- Working knowledge of applicable rules and regulations related to branches and ATMs.
