Salary/Position Classification - $17.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 40 hours per week

Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Eight temporary, full-time positions are anticipated for undergraduate and graduate students, with selection based on the candidate’s academic experience and performance and the strength of their personal statement, resume, letters of recommendation, and interview.
Duties & Responsibilities - This internship is focused on conducting research in the field of North Dakota energy and value-added energy products.
- The selected students will work closely with each other and EERC research scientists, engineers, and project managers on research activities designed to better understand North Dakota’s current energy landscape.
- Focus on future energy challenges and develop value-added opportunities.
Required Competencies - Students will research topics.
- Prepare technical progress reports, a business plan, and presentations, and present research project results.
Minimum Requirements - Applicants must be current UND students (any discipline) and enrolled at UND
for the fall 2024 semester. - Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- A minimum of one letter of recommendation is required.
