Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance professional to join our team at our facility in Statesville, NC, 28677. As a Maintenance team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our conveyor systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in a manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to create preventive maintenance plans and conduct machine safety inspections.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems to ensure optimal functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to conveyor systems
- Utilize your expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and repair any malfunctions
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Create and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Perform hydraulics-related tasks as required
- Program PLCs to meet specific operational requirements
- Wire PLCs and other electrical components accurately and safely
- Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with conveyor systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to create and implement preventive maintenance plans
- Experience with hydraulics
- Knowledge of PLC wiring
- Familiarity with conducting machine safety inspections
