Job description

As a Business Development Manager at Mozaic, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our platform within the Creator Economy. You will be responsible for identifying, establishing, and nurturing strategic partnerships that align with our mission and business objectives. This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the Creator Economy, financial technology, and a proven track record in business development. This role will report directly to the SVP of Growth & Co-founder.

Requirements

  1. Strategic Partnership Development:
    1. Identify and forge partnerships with key players in the Creator Economy and Music Industry, including influencers, content platforms, and other relevant stakeholders.
    2. Develop and execute partnership strategies to drive user acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth.
  2. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential enterprise clients within the Creator Economy and Music Industry, cultivating relationships and generating qualified leads.
  3. Market Research and Analysis:
    1. Stay informed about trends and developments in the FinTech, Music Industry and Creator Economy space.
    2. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.
  4. Relationship Management:
    1. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring a positive and collaborative experience.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and execution of partnership initiatives.
  5. Revenue Generation:
    1. Work closely with the sales team to drive revenue through strategic partnerships.
    2. Develop and implement monetization strategies that align with Mozaic's business goals.
  6. Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads. Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  7. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish and achieve key performance indicators, including but not limited to revenue targets, deal closure rates, and customer acquisition metrics. Regularly report on KPIs to the leadership team.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Development, Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure a seamless experience for enterprise clients.
  9. Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent Mozaic and build valuable connections within the Creator Economy and Music Industry community.
