Job description

Springfield Homes -Residential Assisted Living (Licensed Assisted Living/Shared Housing Establishment) serving 55 and older in a Large Single Family Home.

We only believe in 6 residents in the home, so we can offer the BEST CARE!

Our Residents age in place and receive Professional Geriatric Management/Advocacy in addition to their Board and Care. This sets us apart from all other facilities. We have 24/7 in-house care with 24/7 RN and Management Oversight. This includes weekends and all holidays. Our WHOLE TEAM is HANDS ON!Including the owner.

Responsibilities:

• Assist 55+ residents in an assisted living community with activities such as hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and housekeeping. (Foster a safe and supportive environment for residents by implementing individualized care plans.)
• Ensure proper infection control and personal protective equipment protocols are followed.
• Know the Springfield Homes Protocols and can read them.
• Promote independence and community integration through social and recreational activities - Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and communicate constantly with management via house cell phone and iPad.

Skills:

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality protocols

Familiarity with working with Geriatric Residents with dementia.

Previous experience in an assisted living or nursing home - Ability to maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.

Follow recipes for meal preparation.

Compassion, patience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to the needs of our residents.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32 per week

• working as a CNA or DSP: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• 2-year work history on IDPH Health Registry (Required)

• Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Springfield, IL (Required)
