Salary: $95,000 – $100,000 / per year (Bonus $3,500 annually)
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and clinically strong RN in the San Francisco, East Bay, or Marin county area to assume the position of Clinical Supervisor (CS) for our Home Healthcare team at the Emeryville office. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing patient care and field nurses. They will additionally perform supervisory and re-certification visits, admissions, resumption of care, and discharges. The CS is additionally involved in the field nurse hiring process by conducting interviews and leading orientations and skills trainings.
Job Description:
Clinical Supervisor (CS) – depending on the census (# of patients the office has) determines the number of CSs needed per office. The pt load is ideal at less than 20 per CS.
• MUST have a min of 2 yr as a RN (home health preferred)
• Reports to Clinical Manager
• Oversight of field caregivers (RNs, LPNs, HHAs) and patient care (Private Duty, Skilled Visits, Unskilled)
o Interviews
o Orientations
o Skills trainings
• Most are 50 % in office, 50% out office
o May be referred to as “road warrior” positions for heavy-travel offices
• Out of Office Responsibilities: performing visits in the home with our patients:
o Supervisory visits (every 60 days – unskilled, every 30 days – skilled)
o Recertification visits
o Admissions
o Resumption of care
o Discharges
