Job description
SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire Industrial Bindery Machine Operators for a digital printing company, RPI Print, in Tukwila, WA. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time + OT, able to temporarily work 7 days a week during peak season and have a strong mechanical aptitude (details below).
PAY: $20+ DOE
TITLE & SHIFT: Industrial Bindery Machine Operator, Day or Night Shift
LOCATION: Tukwila, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm o r 3pm - 11pm + required OT when needed **MUST BE AVALIABLE TO WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK TEMPORARILY DURING PEAK SEASON (2-3 months)**

About the job
Machine Operators take care of all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability to cut, fold, or bind books and cards. Some job duties could include performing manual tasks related to the machine, reviewing job ticket and set-up machines in accordance with designated instructions, operate paper cutter preparatory to bind or fold, load stacks of paper onto die cut plate to be cut into cards, conducting quality checks, coating mixtures, Align and position materials being joined to ensure accurate application of adhesive or heat sealing, packs finished products in cartons, label cartons and keep a clean work area. Maintain all safety standards and ensuring safety protocols, lifting up to 25lbs, ability to stand up to 8+ hours per work shift, and other production tasks assigned by supervisor/leads.
Requirements:
· Good attendance is an absolute must!
· Machine Operator exp a plus!
· Available to work 7 days a week during peak season
· Has a strong mechanical aptitude
· Ability to cross train if needed
· Has great attention to detail
· Can work in a fast paced environment
