Job description
Overview of position -
As our Marketing Intern, you will report directly to the Restaurant Marketing Director (RMD) and the restaurant Operator. Your main responsibility will be to assist the RMD in execution of the Marketing Plan and to create positive relationships within the community. You will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to stay focused and detail-oriented. This internship will last at least 3 months, unless determined by the Operator or RMD. In 3 months, an evaluation will be completed in order to determine your future in the position.
Internship Details-
- Three month paid, part time internship (15-25 hours per week)
- Spring, Summer, and Fall internships available
- Upon successful completion of internship, an evaluation will be assessed in order to determine future role in the position.
- Business; Marketing, Community, Communications, or Public Relations as a career interest is a plus.

Desired Qualifications -
- 15-25 hours per week
- This could vary week by week, depending on the marketing schedule
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work around scheduling conflicts or commitments
- Both weekday and weekend availability. (nights & weekends, which are common for scheduled events)
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of individuals, including team members, guests, community and business leaders, school personnel, and children
- Will need to work both in-store and in the community
- Will need to understand and follow Chick-fil-A Brand Guardrails
- Ability to model our brand mission statement and goals when acting as a Chick-fil-A Main Street representative
- Desire to learn more about our store marketing strategy, helping to play a role in achieving store goals
- Positive personality and excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist RMD with execution of the Marketing Plan
- Sampling during peak hours (training required through Pathway)
- Build positive relationships within the community
- Update marketing displays as needed in-store
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and provide ideas for posts and captions on social media
- Develop a vast understanding of mobile ordering and the CFA App
- Assist in facilitating Donation Requests
- Assist in event planning and event execution
- Facilitate Cow Mascot appearances- escorting to school functions and community/business events.
- Help build quarterly monthly plan
- Help create in-store promotions
- Assist in catering sales growth, specifically in the ISD
- Assist in any additional tasks deemed necessary by the RMD/Operator/Leadership Team job responsibilities.
