We are looking for a Vice President of Operations in our Richmond, VA office to own the brand story for the LifeSpire of Virginia family of communities. GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Incumbent is responsible for supporting LifeSpire of Virginia communities and providing executive leadership for Executive Directors, Associate E.D.’s and their teams. In addition to supporting communities this position will support the C.O.O. and the C-level team implementing standardized systems, processes including policy and procedures, and best practices. The VPO will oversee the resource team formation including key performance measures and development. This position will serve as a significant driver for LifeSpire of Virginia’s internal and external growth strategy. This position will be required to support and fill executive director’s vacancies as needed either in current communities or as we grow the organization through acquisition and affiliation. Position will travel to the communities on a regular basis.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of LifeSpire of Virginia.
- Embrace and advance the culture of One LifeSpire and the organization strategic goals and objectives.
- Responsible for oversight of financial performance for assigned areas of LifeSpire of Virginia Communities
- Ensures regulatory compliance for areas of responsibility.
- Monitors customer service standards for the organization.
- Responsible for communicating and implementing LifeSpire of Virginia programs in accordance with our company standards.
- Responsible for ensuring communities are achieving team member and resident satisfaction targets.
- Responsible, in coordination with the COO as the conduit for communications between the home office to the communities.
- Will assist executive management with implementing systems and standards across our organization, to include automating when available.
- Will oversee Information technology programs and service delivery to the communities
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations governing CCRC’s/LPC’s and nursing homes.
- Must be approachable and have proven ability to lead others towards common goals.
- Ability to maintain and strengthen good working relationships with staff and residents.
- Possess good skills in planning, organizing and delegation.
- Ability to deal directly and frequently with staff at all levels of the organization and manage confidential information appropriately.
