Laborer/Operator
West Chester Township has an immediate need to fill a Laborer Operator position. Laborer Operators perform a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work, and operate a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of township parks, cemeteries, roads and facilities. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm. Laborer Operators must be available for snow removal or other emergency duty 24/7 as needed. The starting wage is $19.94/hr .
Candidate may be able to move to $21.11/hr (Step 2 on wage scale) within 6 months of hire based on job proficiency/accomplishments. Candidate may also have the ability to move to $23.49/hr (Step 3 on wage scale) within 1 year of hire based on job proficiency/accomplishments
