Shipping and Receiving Associate- Entry Level
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Packs and loads outgoing shipments.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against paperwork.
- May determine the method of shipment, enter information into the computer, and complete shipper paperwork.
- Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
- Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
- Insert items into containers.
- Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
- Maintains the inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping platform to storage or work area.
- Any and other necessary duties as assigned.
Full Time - 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday – Friday
Pay rate: $16.00 - $17.00 hour
