Job description
POSITION SUMMARY: The OTR Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery of vehicles for customers and dealerships while maintaining the highest level of customer service, satisfaction, and retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Utilize the delivery fleet to pick up vehicles from in and out of state locations.
- Responsible for collecting and processing necessary paperwork.
- Check all vehicles to be delivered against the invoice verifying correct numbers and quantities.
- Ensure that vehicle is well maintained and clean, turn in a vehicle status report weekly, and recommend any maintenance to management.
- Maintain an efficient delivery route.
- Strive to increase and improve customer communication and follow up to maintain relationship and ensure satisfaction with the service and products being provided.
- Update job knowledge by participating in training and education opportunities and keep current on new products and product updates.
- Ensure that work area is organized and cleaned daily.
- Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Prior experience in OTR preferred.
- Valid Driver License and clean driving record required.
Salary Description
$20-22/hr
