We are looking for a Product Testing Specialist for our West Jordan, UT location. This is a full-time, in-office position.
The Product Testing Specialist will be responsible for performing quality testing procedures on returned products. They will work to replicate production and customer reported issues to restore devices to working condition to be sold. This includes but is not limited to addressing and resolving software, firmware, and hardware updates, bug fixes, and product defects. This position is also responsible for all documentation of discovered product issues to prevent future defects and concerns.
Duties Include
- Works within various testing software and environments
- Work within a warehouse environment, occasionally working on your feet for periods of time.
- Gather all testing data in a presentable manner to distribute to key stakeholders.
- Be a liaison for testing between all departments and be able to communicate key information in a timely manner in order to improve product quality.
- Create and issue reports showing customer complaints and trends among products.
- Recommends corrective action to prevent future quality concerns.
- Advocate for the customer ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to tracking and reporting costs of poor product quality.
- Assist in the Quality quarantine process of suspect product.
- Give recommendation if returned product is acceptable to be restocked.
- Connect devices to switches to interface with the network and locate IP addresses.
- Identify and resolve issues related to both network and audio functionality.
- Trigger relays on specific devices as needed.
- Access devices from the web interface for configuration and management.
- Successfully link devices together to ensure seamless functionality.
- Navigate and utilize EPIC software for various tasks and operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, quality management, or related field preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of audio/video products and how to properly troubleshoot them.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with SAP Business ByDesign and Monday.com is preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in quality work including testing/ examining products is preferred.
- Basic networking knowledge
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation
Hourly wage is negotiable based on skill level and experience.
