Scope
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team at EVS. As a key member of the business development team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence in the Live Media Industry. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Broadcast technology with solution selling in mind. Strong sales acumen, and a proven track record of building successful partnerships is key for driving future business and product introductions. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Lobby EVS technology to decision makers, Professional / Semi Professional rights owners & Consultancy Agencies
- Develop EVS’s brand awareness by attending conferences & panels sessions
- Have a thorough knowledge base of the Broadcast and Media industry
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase our solutions.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with industry influencers, technology providers, and complementary businesses to enhance our offerings for mid and long term business growth
- Work closely with Internal stakeholders including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure EVS go to market needs are met
- Focus on new verticals/new markets by assisting Sales Managers in qualifying opportunities and finding first opportunities
- Capture market trends and market insights to contribute to the definition of EVS’ mid & long-term sales strategy
- Find and qualify opportunities + handover to sales manager in charge (General Business, Key Account Managers or territory) for closing
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress against goals, and market insights.
- Ensure compliance to all management reporting requirements and monitor work according to company policies
- Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to stay ahead of market changes.
- Direct report to SVP NA with a dotted line to VP Business DevelopmentProfile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Technical skills:
- Proven experience in business development within the media industry selling complex technical solutions
- Strong understanding of broadcasting technologies, especially EVS solutions
- Researching market trends
- Comfortable addressing C-Suite Executives
- Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets
