Elwood Skill Staff is now hiring UT Certified Flaggers for various projects along the Wasatch Front. These are short and long term positions.

Flagger Details:

• Temporary position
• $21.00 /hour
• Full Time and Part Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Saturday from 07:00am to 05:00pm)

• Flag and work around work areas to divert traffic Flag motorists to warm them of obstacles and repair work ahead
• Will be working in the outdoor elements (extreme heat, cold and/or rain)
• Will be controlling a signal device (paddle)
• Follow all safety precautions to protect motorists and construction workers.

Flagger Qualifications:

• Must have reliable transportation to and from various worksites
• Must have ability to lift up to 25lbs and stand on cement for entire shift
• Must have current/valid Utah Flagging Certificate
• Must be able to work flexible schedules and stand for 8 to 12 hours throughout a shift
• Must be willing to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all team members

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
