**Position Overview:**
A Luxury Cruise Wedding Planner is a highly specialized and creative professional responsible for orchestrating extraordinary and opulent wedding experiences on luxury cruise ships. They are experts in combining the elegance of a traditional wedding with the enchantment of a cruise vacation. This role demands exceptional organizational communication and interpersonal skills to craft unforgettable moments for couples and their guests.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Client Consultation:** Meet with couples to understand their vision preferences and budget for their luxury cruise wedding. Provide expert advice and guidance on cruise ship options itineraries and onboard wedding packages.
2. **Venue Selection:** Research and recommend luxury cruise liners and shipboard venues that align with the couples desires. Coordinate site visits and inspections if necessary.
3. **Vendor Coordination:** Collaborate with cruise line representatives and onboard vendors such as florists decorators photographers and chefs to ensure seamless execution of wedding services.
4. **Budget Management:** Create and maintain a detailed budget for each wedding keeping track of expenses and ensuring that all elements are within the agreedupon financial boundaries.
5. **Customization:** Tailor each wedding to the couples preferences including themes color schemes decorations entertainment and personalized details.
6. **Documentation and Legalities:** Ensure all necessary legal requirements licenses and documentation are in place for the wedding to take place on the cruise ship.
7. **Logistics and Itinerary:** Plan the cruise itinerary including wedding ceremony and reception schedules as well as shore excursions and entertainment options for guests.
8. **Guest Services:** Coordinate all guest accommodations travel arrangements and special requests ensuring a smooth experience for all attendees.
9. **Onboard Coordination:** Ensuring all details are executed flawlessly. Address any unforeseen issues.
10. **PostWedding FollowUp:** Collect feedback from the couple and guests to continually improve the services offered and gather testimonials for future clients.
**Qualifications:**
Experience in wedding planning or event coordination with a focus on luxury weddings is Advantageous.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Excellent organization and timemanagement abilities.
Budget management and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with wedding industry trends and luxury market standards.
Ability to handle highpressure situations with grace.
