The ideal candidate for this job would do the following:
- take ownership of hunting for net-new opportunities within assigned territory in any industry that have automotive fleet needs.
- develop and execute sales strategies for assigned territories (with manager's input).
- develop strong relationships with key customer contacts.
- create and deliver high impact sales presentations.
This candidate will have the following skill sets:
- Knowledge/Expertise* Knowledge of Toyota Automotive products – Demonstrates and sells solid understanding of all Toyota of Scranton Products /Services for businesses.
- Sales Skills - Applies Solution Selling concepts to customer situations by using excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Business Acumen - Understands and explains how Toyota products and services can help customer's business.
- Market/customer Knowledge - Uses full knowledge of customer's business and market economics/trends to position Toyota of Scranton effectively versus the competition.
- Solution Complexity/Strategic Thinking* Nature of Problems Solved - Solves routine problems of moderate complexity (e.g., verifying technical compatibility) at the customer level.
- Role in Addressing Problems - Understands and resolves problems with support from technical resources.
- Team Player* Level of Guidance - Works under general supervision. Makes decisions of moderate complexity that impact deliverables of products/services.
- Exercises judgment in approach.
- Customer Interface* Role - Acts independently or as a team lead for ad-hoc teams.
- Level of Customer Contact - Buyers/decision makers for small and mid-sized deals and end users.
- Main Level of Interaction - Responsible for influencing the customer to purchase moderate size products/services.
- Required Knowledge of Customer - Operational strategies for success.
- Accountability* Business and Financial Impact - Responsible for individual revenue attainment with established prices and personal expenses.
- Relative Size and Scope - Moderate to average individual quota size for business and like roles.
Qualifications:
- 2 + years of applicable experience, specifically sales / business development / hunting and securing net-new business.
- Direct success selling into any industry that uses fleets with an understanding of their workflows.
- Experience selling a broad product portfolio strongly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate with and grow C-level relationships with customers and internal leadership/business units.
- Must be comfortable with change and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Social media marketing on popular platforms is a plus.
