The Director of Risk Management: is responsible for reviewing incident reports and conducting investigations as necessary to ensure optimum staff, visitor, and patient safety; is directly or indirectly involved in the planning, directing, and organization of staff development activities and submission of reports to the Performance Improvement Committee, Medical Executive Committee, and the Governing Body; collaborates with Human Resources regarding New Hire Orientation; is responsible to operate within with departmental budget.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree, Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN) or Master’s degree in Social Work/Psychology or related behavioral health field. Qualified experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement. California licensure by the Board of Registered Nursing or behavioral health such as LCSW, LMFT, PhD/PsyD. Minimum of two years’ experience in Psychiatric/Chemical Dependency environment. Minimum three (3) years management experience preferred.
