Are you passionate about influencing portfolio investment and strategy priorities through financial insights? As a Finance Manager, you will partner with our Medical Affairs and Customer Engagement (CE) teams to drive investment effectiveness, resource allocation and prioritization, financial objectives, process efficiencies, trends, etc. You will support these functions in Commercial by providing data-driven insights on critical business topics for our brands and product pipelines.
Your Opportunity
Deliver high quality and compliant financial reporting required to support long/short term planning activities
Participate in the monthly and quarterly preparation/analysis of financial results
Work closely with stakeholders to manage their operating expense budget and forecast
Assess financial performance against both the annual budget and group’s long-term strategy
Highlight risks and opportunities for an Enterprise perspective on resource allocation
Support excellence in execution by flagging areas where there are lags vs. plans and partner with Finance/Stakeholders for issues resolution
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
Who You Are
Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline. MBA is preferred
A minimum of 3+ years in Finance
Demonstrated knowledge of accrual accounting concepts and financial statement analysis
Experience in preparing monthly financial management reports
Strong proficiency with Excel and familiarity using ERP systems (SAP and TM1 preferred)
Pharmaceutical/biotech experience within Commercial/Clinical is a plus
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $109,300 – $202,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
