NTT DATA Services is currently looking for an  IT Change Coordinator (f/m/d) Data Centre for our growing team in Germany.

Role overview

We are hiring an IT Change Coordinator (f/m/d) Data Centre - fully remote in Germany - to plan, coordinate and assist with Data Centre activities with a focus on the decommissioning of physical servers (Windows, Linux, OpenStack, Baremetal) located in the client's Data Centre. 

Key responsibilities

• Planning and change creation for physical servers moves
• Identification of servers for active decommissioning
• Coordination and planning of activities with the server owners, potential activities and coordination and planning relating to the move into parking rack to gain space within the client's Data Centre
• Liaison with client's Request and Deployment team
• Collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues
• Coordination with third parties like the application/middleware or network team (for both server moves and server decoms)
• Monitoring of changes in process to ensure finalization as scheduled for the planned date
• Analyse existing processes, interfaces, and automation and identify potential improvements and further developments
• In case of delayed server decommissioning plan and create server move into parking rack
• Participate in regular project status and steering meetings
• Support in documentation, track agreements and project progress
• Further quality assurance task, to support stable Linux and Windows operations and maintenance teams as well as client's Request and Deployment team
• Process optimization
• Support ITSM Migration to ServiceNow

Role requirements

Must haves

• Experience in Enterprise Data Centre infrastructure
• Very good IT Services/ITIL knowledge (Change, Incident and Problem Management)
• Knowledge around Data Centres and server infrastructure
• Deep technical understanding
• Very good communication skills as well as documentation knowledge
• Experience in Client-facing positions
• Business fluent in German and at least good to fluent in English (both spoken and written)

Nice to haves

• Onsite support experience in Data Centre environments and ServiceNow knowledge
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• ServiceNow experience
• First experience working with an international team
