Nina Alfano, who graduated from Carthage as of J-Term 2024, was accepted into the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Sociology Ph.D. program and received a fellowship, which will fund her for seven years!

Ms. Alfano is a first-generation student and is honored to have had her professors at Carthage, such as Professor Bradley Zopf, help her pursue her career goal of becoming a sociologist.
