The Administrative Assistant position is available in Livonia, MI. This is a 6 months contract, full-time time and onsite role that could led to a full-time role based on workload. In this role you will order supplies, schedule meetings, maintain conference rooms, work through issue resolution and work independently on other assigned tasks.
JOB DESCRIBTION:
- Conducting timecard entry corrections, data entry, opening and closing work orders in PeopleSoft and maintaining timecards for record retention
- Completing general administrative duties including making copies, filing, faxing, scanning, maintaining the visitor log, posting, monitoring, and maintaining training and conference rooms for daily readiness
- Utilizing Microsoft Office to be preparing, maintaining documents, and ensuring supplies are ordered and maintained
- Running and reviewing daily missing time verification reports and accounting for missing time
- Activating customer badges, taking badge photos, requesting badges from facilities, monitoring badge expirations, and controlling employee and visitor badges to ensure appropriate access
- Greeting guests and employees, answering multi-line phone system, routing calls, and providing assistance
- Assisting administrative team with work overflow and acting as backup for vacation and absence coverage
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience
- Valid driver"s license and safe driving history
- Good written and verbal communication skills and very detail oriented
- Ability to be answer a multi-line phone system, demonstrate professional phone etiquette, and work independently
and in a team environment
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to provide support to various locations, have reliable attendance, and have the ability to work overtime
- Associate degree in Business or a related field (preferred)
