DS Technologies Inc is looking for Training and Development Specialist role for one of our premier clients. Onsite r ole.

Role:Training and Development Specialist (FTE)

Location: Dayton, OH

Position Summary
As a Training and Development Specialist some of your main responsibilities will include creating content (questions, practical exercises, etc.) for various types of training and selecting the best resources required for training programs, including e-learning tools and external study materials. You will also be responsible for selecting and training instructors to conduct specific programs. As the Training and Development Specialist, you will be working directly under the Training and Development Manager to ensure that all our training and development programs meet our staff's specific needs.



Responsibilities
Identify employee training and development needs by conducting surveys and interviews, organizing
focus groups, and communicating with instructors, managers, and employees
Develop the organization's training programs in accordance with the company's objectives and budget
Schedule training programs, coordinate enrollment, track attendance, and send certifications as needed
Create or update onboarding programs for new staff members
Prepare various training materials, such as manuals and course documentation, and review materials
created by assigned instructors
Collaborate with external subject matter experts on improving staff training and assessment
Determine areas of improvement by collecting and reviewing training participants' feedback
Review the effectiveness of training programs using relevant KPIs (employee productivity, talent
turnover rate, talent satisfaction, etc.)



Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or another related field (a master's degree with a
focus on Training and Development is preferred)
2+ years of experience working in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of various training methods (game-based training, simulations, role-modeling, etc.)
and multimedia learning platforms (ProProfs, Lessonly, or Talentsoft)
Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools (Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace)
Excellent communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Certificates like SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR are a plus
