About The Role
The Partner Coordinator is a brand-new position for Prudent Pet. The business is growing and focusing on our insurance agent partners and helping them produce is one of our top priorities. The Partner Coordinator will join us to be the main point of contact for our new and existing partners to set them up in our system, train on our product and the benefits of Prudent Pet, manage email campaigns, and provide sales reporting and follow up support to our senior leadership team. This role will be instrumental in getting our newest insurance agent partners up to speed on Prudent Pet Insurance, educating why it will be their book of businesses' best offering to add to their portfolio, and onboarding all partners on our Agent Portal as well as other technology and methods to distribute and sell. Equally as crucial is managing our existing insurance agent partners, ensuring they are engaged and distributing Prudent Pet Insurance continuously to maximize sales. The ideal candidate is one that possesses high energy, superb communication skills, the ability to connect with people, and is self-motivated with a passion for both pets and the success of Prudent Pet. This is a hybrid role working both remote and in our home office located in Downers Grove, IL. Occasional travel will be expected for conferences and team meetings as necessary. Above all, we are looking for this person to assist in building out the Independent Agent department for Prudent and make it a significant portion of overall sales for the business.
Core Responsibilities
- Onboard insurance agents and agencies, educating insurance professionals on the why and how of pet insurance as well as how to quote and bind in our system, supplying them with the tools they need to promote Prudent Pet. These sessions include hosting continuously for new partners and quarterly for larger groups as a refresher/for new hires
- Service both new and seasoned client relationships on an ongoing basis-conduct continued outreach, incentives, and other initiatives to drive growth
- Provide professional and courteous support to our Producers resulting in retention and engagement in pushing Prudent Pet to their book of business
- Create newsletter, incentives, and other engagement opportunities that help in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding the business
- Work with the internal sales teams to facilitate clean handoffs of partner clients to our sales agents
- Add, edit, and manage all new and existing partners into our internal system so entities receive correct sale attribution and agency reporting is accurate
- Manage all relationships digitally in Hubspot ensuring notes and communication are logged and pipeline is tracked
- Review reporting and performance with management including identification of clients who are experiencing production fluctuations
- Begin outreach to new selling verticals for Prudent in an effort to put our senior B2B team in front of organization decision makers
- Provide support in B2B initiatives such as prospect follow up, meeting coordination, etc.
- Market to local and national insurance agents and creating target lists as needed
- Provide strong support to senior B2B team as it pertains to annual events and conferences, this includes attending conferences a few times per year

- Reports directly to AVP of Operations

- Other key home office employees including the ownership group
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent agency marketing experience
- Minimum of 2 years working in a client training or onboarding role or similar marketing agency experience, insurance and/or pet industry a plus
- Advanced CMS experience specifically with Wordpress
- Profit focused individual with s trong business acumen and experience structuring and managing projects
- Previous experience adapting to a fast paced, dynamic, client facing work environment while driving results
- Outstanding presentation skills to both small and large groups
- Driven, goal-focused, coachable, communicative, confident, and professional
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication, and partnership skills
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
