Job description

The Development Coordinator will play a vital role in contributing to the total effectiveness of the Mission, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member. Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this position. Responsibilities: Managing our CRM database for Donors, entering information, keeping information up to date, assisting donors with updating their information. Assisting with Grant Writing, especially in research and gathering data Prospect research for current and potential donors, businesses, and organizations Assisting with fundraising events Creating donor proposals and case for support Identifying donors for different asks such as the annual fund, major gifts, planned giving, and other appeals Establishing and managing donor relationships as appropriate with the possibility of carrying a small portfolio of donors in the future Communicating marketing needs with the Marketing Manager Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:

• College graduate or equivalent preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Well Organized, self-starter, flexibility and growth mindset
• Great customer service and people skills
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, publisher, and email
• Experience with database management a plus
• Passionate about our mission, feeding the hungry and clothing the poor, able to communicate that to potential donors
• Knowledge of Catholic teaching, feel comfortable and able to communicate that to potential donors if they ask. Comfortable asking for prayer intentions.

Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week; Must be able to work during special events (nights & weekends) and extra hours as needed
