Lab Technician

Position –  Lab Technician 

Job Location –  Eden Prairie, MN 

Employment Term –  Temp-to-Hire

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri)

Starting Pay –  Between $20-23/hr 

Responsibilities  

• Review paperwork to verify information and testing to be done.

• working with Microscope and hardness testers. 
• Prepare parts and equipment for testing procedures.
• Conduct testing as required, reporting any non-conformance to manager.
• This position will allows for cross training and development of additional skills. 

• Qualifications

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements
• Education – High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy, heat treating, inspection and related subjects preferred
• Willing and capable of becoming proficient in using Rockwell hardness tester and other testing equipment as required.
