Program Overview:

The Child Care Providers United Training Fund is a coalition of organizations committed to uplifting the leadership of family child care providers in California. These providers, predominantly women of color and immigrants, play a crucial role in the state's economy and community well-being by offering essential child care services. Our program aims to support these providers in delivering quality care, regardless of income, thereby shaping a brighter future for California's children.

Position Summary:

We are an opening for a Tuition Assistance Coordinator for the California Training & Professional Development Program. This role will oversee scholarship administration for early childhood education training programs in California, providing crucial support to members throughout the application process. The Coordinator will work closely with the Tuition Assistance Manager and other team members to ensure the seamless delivery of educational benefits.

Responsibilities:

Assist providers with inquiries and admissions procedures.
Deliver exceptional customer service via various channels, including in-person, phone, and virtual interactions.
Manage the provider application process from submission to approval.
Offer education counseling to maximize benefit utilization.
Coordinate informational and promotional events to raise awareness of the program.
Collect and maintain program evaluation data in accordance with guidelines.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Generate program reports to highlight successes and challenges.
Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Availability for occasional evening and weekend work.
Ability to travel within California as needed.
Experience/Qualifications:

Two or more years of experience coordinating complex programs.
Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects concurrently.
Adaptability to evolving environments, particularly in startup settings.
Dedication to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
Excellent communication skills across diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual proficiency, especially in English and Spanish, Somali, Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, or Russian.
Pay and Benefits:
